
Barclays had a requirement for quality space at a competitive rent and in close proximity to its existing headquarters on the Canary Wharf Estate. I immediately noticed the refurbished space on offer at Exchange Tower met these needs and we were able to negotiate a flexible lease length that suited us. Hammerson impressed me as a sensible landlord willing to listen and talk to its tenants and treat them like customers. The building itself is well managed and conveys a good impression on arrival. It is not that different from the new generation of buildings on the main 'Wharf' estate.

Getting to and from the office could not be easier. The Northen and Jubilee lines transport me from Leicester Square to Canary Wharf. Then, depending on the weather, I can walk along the water's edge or hop on the DLR two stops to South Quay. All in all, it takes under 40 minutes.
